WATER, SEWER AND PIPELINES

How we make it flow.

WATER, SEWER AND PIPELINES

Trenchless technology is a form of underground construction that requires the use of few or no trenches at surface or street level. Trenchless technology uses new techniques and equipment to install or replace underground infrastructure without causing disturbance to the ground above. Its goal is to avoid interfering with surface-level activities, including traffic, businesses, residential areas or people.

The idea behind trenchless technologies is simple: rather than digging a trench that disturbs traffic, businesses and people, make a small vertical hole, then bore horizontally beneath the surface, like a mole, along a planned path to a specific destination.

Trenchless technologies also includes making repairs using processes such as pipe bursting, to replace piping and conduits in a single effort, without the need for trenching or even disposal of old pipe sections.

Tunneling is one of the oldest forms of trenchless construction. As machinery replaced muscle power, it became possible to bore tunnels up to 20 yards wide with a single path of a tunnel boring machine. This changed the way minerals were mined, subways were created and, as the technology became even more specialized, electrical, sewer and other critical infrastructure was built and rebuilt. We aslo do the following:

  • CCTV Inspection
  • Manhole Rehabilitation
  • CIPP Lining

Pipe Bursting will correct the following to main line, service lateral and process piping.
  • Cracked, broken or collapsed pipe
  • Severly Corroded pipe
  • Root Infestation
  • Ground water Infiltration
  • Exfilaration of Sewage or Process Water
  • Surchaging by upsizing of the existing

The process of Pipe Bursting

Timecatch has successfully focused on the construction and rehabilitation of onshore pipelines and operates mainly in the, water, storm water and sewerage sectors. The division services both public and private sector clients from top mining and industrial groups to regional and government.

With specialist expertise in laying and welding of steel pipelines and in-situ pipeline refurbishment techniques including the removal and re-application of linings and coatings across a wide range of products Timecatch has the edge over many of its competitors in being able to offer their clients the complete project package.

The demand for potable water to be delivered to the population, from our growing cities to the far corners of the most rural of areas, is outstripping current supply models. Timecatch business is the construction of pipelines and contributing to the successful completion.

Timecatch has the capability to work with a full range of pipelines, including those made from:
  • Steel
  • Glass Fibre reinforced polyester (GRP)
  • Concrete
  • UPVC
  • HDPE
